Something about us
Seven Olives Pty LTD was born in 2020 as a humble, homegrown venture—rooted in creativity, faith, and a desire to build something meaningful. What began as a hobby and side business in our garage has grown into a unique combination of two passions: a boutique guesthouse and a custom laser-engraving studio. Under one name and one roof, we now welcome guests into thoughtfully designed rooms and craft high-quality MDF products, from personalized lights to our upcoming innovation, the PodBox.
As a husband-and-wife team, we design and build every product ourselves, with care and excellence—he handles the drawings and technical work, she brings life and color through painting. Together, we aim to create not just beautiful items, but joyful experiences.
Our guesthouse, which began with just a single room, has grown into three beautifully appointed private units on our property. We personally welcome each guest, offering a warm, thoughtful experience while respecting their privacy. Every stay is designed to feel peaceful, comfortable, and uniquely personal—just the way it should be.
The name Seven Olives carries deep meaning for us: it symbolizes new beginnings (like the olive branch in Noah’s story) and completion (with seven being a biblical number of wholeness). At the heart of it all, we do this for Yahweh—because He made it all possible. All thanks and praise to Him.
Whether you're shopping our handcrafted pieces or booking a stay, we welcome you into something more than just a business—it’s our story, our passion, and our purpose.

Conrad is the technical mind behind Seven Olives, with a background in both electrical and mechanical engineering. After working in the mining industry across Witbank, Mali (West Africa), and Sishen for Moolmans, he returned to Thabazimbi in 2019 to join the family electrical business.
Passionate about design, Conrad thrives on creating both 2D and 3D components, technical drawings, and turning ideas into real-world solutions. With a love for gadgets, IT, and hands-on creativity, he brings a strong problem-solving approach to everything he builds.
As a husband and father of two, Conrad is driven by a deep desire to build something of his own—something meaningful and lasting.
Seven Olives is more than a business; it's his way of stepping into entrepreneurship, making a mark, and laying the foundation for a family legacy. Inspired by visionaries like Robert Kiyosaki and South Africa’s Daniel Strauss, Conrad believes in doing things differently and teaching his children the same—through action, example, and creativity.
